The two choirs have been meeting every other year, alternately in St Albans and Worms, to give joint concerts since 1969. In 2009 SACC was in Worms to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the two choirs' partnership; in April 2011 the two choirs performed Vaughan Williams's A Sea Symphony in St Albans Cathedral.
